The New Orleans Saints cut both of their kickers. They currently don't have one on their roster. The season starts in less than a week, and another kicker has to come on the roster. That will cause the current 53 man roster to be trimmed again.

This may have been a long shot, but many would have liked to see the local Tulane product make the team. He was called the "new Darren Sproles" by many. After the trade in the offseason, they need someone to be their third-down back. He could have eventually been there.
