There are a few notable players who show up on NFL injury reports for Week 1 of the regular season. Some of their chances to play seem good; others, not so much.

Here's a look at five notable players' injury status for Week 1.

The Buffalo Bills' rookie has a chance to become the dynamic WR that Buffalo's been lacking over the course of the last few seasons, but a preseason injury to his ribs had his availability for Week 1 in doubt. However, it appears now that Watkins will indeed make his NFL debut with the Bills in Week 1, as he is currently listed as probable.

Gronkokowski is absolutely pivotal to the New England Patriots' success in 2014, as their running game appears to be subpar and their receiving depth isn't overly impressive. Gronk is listed as probable, but recent reports indicate that the Patriots and their fans alike could possibly be without his services in Week 1.

Odell Beckham Jr., WR - (Hamstring) Doubtfull

The New York Giants will apparently be without their first-round pick, WR Odell Beckham Jr. for Week 1 with a hamstring injury. New York's offense looked a bit scatterbrained this preseason, so starting the campaign without Beckham cannot be an incredibly encouraging development. He's currently listed as doubtful and will likely miss the opener.

Manti Te'o, LB - (Foot) Questionable

The San Diego Chargers took a chance on Te'o after his scandal in college at Notre Dame, and Te'o has yet to reward them for it. He missed three games last season with a foot injury, and it appears he's dealing with a foot injury again that he suffered during the preseason against the Seattle Seahawks. Te'o's listed as "questionable" despite returning to practice recently, and I'd expect the verdict will come down to a game time decision.

Without a big year from Newton, it's going to be hard for the Carolina Panthers' stellar defense to mask all their offensive woes at the skill positions. Newton's been dealing with some sore ribs, but he is listed as probable and expects to be ready for the opener.
