The 2014 NFL season is ready to kick into full gear, and as another season is almost underway, the game America loves continues to change. Football has become a much more offensively driven game over the past few seasons, with the 2014 expecting to see a lot of high scores like last season. Heading into Week 1 here are the 10 best offenses in the NFL.

10. Atlanta Falcons

The 2013 season was a big disappointment for the Atlanta Falcons, in large part due to their defense not being able to stop much of anything. On offense, however, they slipped a bit too after the loss of Julio Jones, and Roddy White never getting to 100 percent. In 2014, the Falcons’ offense led by Matt Ryan and their two star receivers will be looking to bounce back.

The Dallas Cowboys may not be having the success they want in regards to making the playoffs, but on offense they are pretty explosive. Tony Romo is coming off of back surgery, which is a bit concerning, but their offensive line seems to be getting better finally. If Romo is able to stay healthy, it will be another season of a lot of points for the Cowboys.

Tom Brady is still at the helm, and that means the New England Patriots’ offense will still be a feared one. Rob Gronkowski seems to be ready to go for Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins, and if he stays healthy, the Patriots’ offense will be one of the best in the NFL. The recent move to acquire Tim Wright gives New England a dynamic duo at TE.

7. Indianapolis Colts

Andrew Luck has become one of the best QB’s in the league, and this season expectations are high for the Indianapolis Colts. Hakeem Nicks is Luck’s newest weapon to go along with T.Y. Hilton and Reggie Wayne. If Trent Richardson can run the ball better this season, the Colts could have a lethal attack.

6. Chicago Bears

Despite losing Jay Cutler for a few games last season, Josh McCown kept the Chicago Bears’ offense going, but this season it will only be Cutler with McCown in Tampa Bay now. Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery could very well be the best duo at WR in the NFL, and Matt Forte is a top five running back in the league, all resulting in a high-powered offense.

5. Detroit Lions

With the best WR in football in Calvin Johnson on the Detroit Lions, it will be another fun season to watch. Matthew Stafford is a gunslinger, which produces a lot of yards, but also can result in a lot of turnovers. If the Lions keep the turnover numbers down this season, there is no telling what kind of stats their offense will produce.

4. New Orleans Saints

Since Drew Brees has come to New Orleans they have been one of the best offenses in football, and 2014 should be no different. The Saints have one of the best TE’s in football in Jimmy Graham, who along with Brees, some young talented WR’s and the veteran, Marcus Colston, it should be another good season for the Saints’ offense starting in Week 1 against the poor Falcons’ defense.

3. Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers is back and healthy for the Green Bay Packers, and as one of the best QB’s in football, that will translate into the Packers having one of the best offenses in football. Eddie Lacy will be the every down back for the Packers, who will have a better balanced attack than previous seasons heading into a tough Week 1 matchup in Seattle.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

The first season under Chip Kelly was a great success for the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense, and 2014 should be more of the same. Nick Foles emerged as one of the better young quarterbacks in the NFL in 2013, and 2014 will be his first full season. LeSean McCoy is a little banged up heading into Week 1, but seems ready for another great season under Kelly’s offense.

With Peyton Manning coming off an MVP season, the Denver Broncos offense seems poised for another great season. The offense looks a little different without Eric Decker and Knowshon Moreno, but Montee Ball and Emmanuel Sanders should fill in nicely. One concern for the Broncos’ offense is the health of Wes Welker, who suffered a concussion and was then suspended four-games for PED’s.
