TV Schedule: Sunday, Oct. 5, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Lucas Oil Stadium
Line: Indianapolis (-3.5)
After losing their first two games of the season, the Indianapolis Colts have been amazing since then. In their back-to-back wins, the Colts have managed to score a combined 85 points. Simply put, if a team averages 40+ points a game, it is going to win a bunch of football games.
Indy will meet up with the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5. The Ravens have won three games in a row. No to mention, they are coming off of a big win against the Carolina Panthers — won by 28 points.
As expected, Andrew Luck is putting up great numbers. In terms of yards, the Colts are averaging the most per game. They are tied with the Atlanta Falcons in that category.
Baltimore isn’t too far behind, though, and has been doing good things in the passing and running game.
Although Indy has the fans on its side and the line, either team could win. Realistically, we are looking at two playoff teams here. Whichever QB has the better outing will be key. However, the team that makes the most plays will clearly be very important as well.
Luck and the Colts are hot, so I have to go with them. Another 300-yard performance is certainly not out of the question, and that is exactly what I am predicting him to do. With that said, don’t expect the Ravens to just fall over and die. They have earned their 3-1 record and have beaten solid competition in the process.
PREDICTION: Ravens 24, Colts 30
