Texans vs. Cowboys NFL Week 5: TV Schedule, Betting Lines, Prediction
TV Schedule: Sunday, Oct. 5, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: AT&T Stadium
Line: Dallas (-6)
Don’t look now, but the Dallas Cowboys could be one of the best teams in the NFL. Record wise, the Houston Texans could be as well.
After looking absolutely horrible in Week 1, the Cowboys have gotten back on track and have won three games in a row. The Cowboys’ most recent win over the New Orleans Saints is what really got everyone’s attention. It’s not everyday that the Saints go down 38-17.
Tony Romo has looked solid and DeMarco Murray has been carrying the load on the ground. For what it’s worth, Murray very well could be the best RB in the league right now. After all, he does have the most rushing yards in the NFL, and Dallas is ranked No. 1 in the league in rushing yards per game as well.
As for Houston, J.J. Watt might as well play every single down, on both sides of the ball. He may be a DE, but he already has two touchdowns on the year. It is no wonder why the Texans decided to make him a very rich man — he is worth every penny.
With that said, I like Dallas in this one. The Cowboys’ offense has been, dare I say, great this season. After throwing three picks in Week 1, I am sure not many people expected Tony Romo and Co. to look this good.
Dallas very well could capture its fourth straight victory in front of its fans this week. Regardless, one of these teams will start the season off with a 4-1 record, which I am sure not many people expected entering the season.
PREDICTION: Texans 24, Cowboys 27
