TV Schedule: Sunday, Oct. 5, 4:05 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: Sports Authority Field at Mile High
Line: Denver (-7.5)
The Arizona Cardinals may be entering this game as the undefeated team, but the Denver Broncos are still the favorites. Not many teams are going to be favored against Denver entering games this year. That tends to happen when a team has as lethal of an offense as the Broncos. Making the Super Bowl last year probably doesn’t hurt either.
Although Denver does have a loss, it came against the Seattle Seahawks. Not to mention, that loss also came in overtime and on the road for the Broncos.
With that said, the Cardinals have beaten three teams that could realistically make the playoffs this year (San Diego, New York, San Francisco). If Arizona knocks off Denver, it could, without a doubt, make a case for being the best team in the NFL. After all, there are only two undefeated teams right now. Arizona is one of them.
The Broncos are coming off of a bye, so they should be more than ready for this contest. Peyton Manning isn’t exactly having as good of a season as he did last year, but he is still arguably the best QB in the league. He will prove that by having a great outing in this one.
Expect Manning to get all of his weapons involved earlier on, and for the fans at Sports Authority Field going crazy for their team.
PREDICTION: Cardinals 14, Broncos 28
