TV Schedule: Monday, Oct. 6, 8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Stadium: FedEx Field

Line: Seattle (-7.5)

Coming into this contest, the Seattle Seahawks are predicted by many to come away with the victory. However, the Washington Redskins will have the luxury of playing at home, so at least they have that.

The Seahawks had a bye in Week 4. The week before that they took down the Denver Broncos in overtime.

The Redskins are not coming off of a bye. In fact, they are coming off of a blowout loss to the New York Giants, 45-14. To make matters worse, other than the fact that Washington is about to play arguably the best team in the NFL, Kirk Cousins threw a whopping four interceptions against the Giants.

That is really a shame after having a pretty solid outing against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3 — still resulted in a loss.

You have to wonder if the Redskins have enough firepower to outscore the Seahawks. Simply put, if Cousins throws four more picks, Seattle will win big. Plus, Seattle has a great defense to say the least. Luckily, I think he got that one horrible game out of his system. Players like RB Alfred Morris will have to step up, though.

No matter what the case, Seattle is a very, very good team despite its one loss already. After all, the Seahawks have already beaten Green Bay and Denver on the year. Both teams could make the playoffs this year.

PREDICTION: Seahawks 30, Redskins 14
