Arizona Cardinals vs. Denver Broncos: Predicting the Final Score

Who would have thought, when the NFL schedule came out, that the Arizona Cardinals would be undefeated as they head into play the Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium? The Broncos, on the other hand, have lost their most recent game to the Seattle Seahawks, but gave them a heck of a battle, and if there was ever a moral victory in a defeat, Denver earned that during Week 3′s loss. With both Denver and Arizona coming off their bye Weeks, both teams will be fresh in this highly anticipated matchup.

Not only is Arizona 3-0, but they are undefeated playing with backup quarterback Drew Stanton. Stanton will start Sunday’s game as well, with Carson Palmer unable to return from a nerve issue. The Cardinals’ defense will need to bring their A-game to Denver, and figure out a way to force a turnover or two, if they want a shot in this game. Along with that, expect to see a heavy dosage of Andre Ellington, as Arizona will try and keep the Broncos’ offense off the field.

Denver needs to get their best playmaker going. Demaryius Thomas has failed to accumulate more than 62 yards in any game this season, and has only one touchdown thus far. Although Patrick Peterson should be shadowing him, expect Peyton Manning to get Thomas involved early and often. The Broncos’ defense will also need to step up, as they will try and make Stanton uncomfortable in the pocket. If they accomplish that, expect some turnovers.

Final Prediction: With this game in Denver, it is hard to see the Broncos falling here. Denver wins 33-20.
