Week 6 Matchup: Jacksonville Jaguars (0-5) vs. Tennessee Titans (1-4)

TV Schedule: Sunday, Oct. 12, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS

Stadium: LP Field

Line: Tennessee (-6)

The Jacksonville Jaguars may be the underdogs entering this Week 6 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, but this is their perfect opportunity to capture a win for the first time this season.

Although the Jaguars have yet to win a game in the 2014 season, Tennessee has only managed one victory. No to mention, it came in the first game of the year.

To Jacksonville’s credit, it has played teams like Philadelphia, Indianapolis, San Diego and Pittsburgh. One thing is for sure, at least one of those teams will make the playoffs this year.

The Jags’ offense is pretty bad to say the least, so not only does Tennessee have the advantage of playing at home, but it also has the advantage in the offensive department. For the record, Jacksonville doesn’t have one of the best defenses either. No wonder why the team is 0-5 on the season.

Whichever teams’ quarterback has the better game will win this contest. That is more of a hunch than anything, but considering neither team puts up a whole lot of points, it makes sense.

A three-TD performance by either teams’ QB would be huge, but we will have to wait and see if that happens in this one.

Regardless, I like the Titans in this matchup. Sure, they gave up a pretty big lead to Cleveland in Week 5, but the most Jacksonville has scored in a game this season was 17 points, which it did twice.

PREDICTION: Jaguars 16, Titans 21
