Week 6 Matchup: Green Bay Packers (3-2) vs. Miami Dolphins (2-2)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Oct. 12, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: Sun Life Stadium
Line: Green Bay (-3.5)
To say the Green Bay Packers have looked good in their past two games is a complete understatement. In fact, the Packers have won their last two games by a combined score of 80-27. Those two victories came against divisional opponents, so I am sure fans feel pretty good about their team right now.
Those same fans ought to feel pretty good about their team’s next opponent, the Miami Dolphins.
Miami has two wins this year. One against New England and the other against Oakland, which actually came in their last game (Week 4).
The key to this game for the Dolphins is to stop Aaron Rodgers. The only problem with that is the fact that we are talking about Aaron Rodgers, and he has been great as of late.
In the last two contests alone, Rodgers has thrown seven touchdowns. He also hasn’t thrown an interception since Week 1, which was against the Seattle Seahawks.
But hey, at least the Dolphins are averaging 142.3 rushing yards per game, while the Packers are giving up 163 per game. So if anything, Miami can certainly take advantage in that department.
Miami will have its fans on its side in this one, but not even those fans can save the Dolphins from the Packers.
Miami may be 2-2 in 2014, but Green Bay is coming into this one hot.
PREDICTION: Packers 30, Dolphins 21
