Pittsburgh Steelers

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

Week 6 Matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) vs. Cleveland Browns (2-2)

TV Schedule: Sunday, Oct. 12, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS

Stadium: FirstEnergy Stadium

Line: Cleveland (-2)

It feels like it was just yesterday when these teams played each other. Well, it wasn’t quite yesterday, but the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers did meet up in Week 1.

The Steelers got the best of the Browns in Round 1, winning by the score of 30-27. Entering Round 2, although Cleveland has the line, I still give the edge to Pittsburgh.

Sure, it is never easy to win on the road in the NFL, but I think the Steelers have the better QB, and the better team, for that matter. They also have Le’Veon Bell, who has been a beast to say the least this year. With that said, the Browns are averaging more rushing yards per game, and QB Brian Hoyer only has one interception.

Regardless, both teams need the win if they plan on competing for a spot in the playoffs. The Cincinnati Bengals currently lead the division, but both the Browns and Steelers have yet to play them.

In the end, I am predicting Pittsburgh’s defense to come up big yet again. I don’t think the team will hold the Browns to just nine points, like they did against Jacksonville in Week 5, but holding them to under 20 is a real possibility.

Keep in mind that the two teams combined for 57 points in their first matchup of 2014, though.

PREDICTION: Steelers 24, Browns 16
