Remember a couple weeks back when many people thought the Cincinnati Bengals were the best team in the NFL? You have to wonder if those people are beginning to think twice about that.
After getting smashed by the New England Patriots on SNF, the Bengals bad week is continuing with news of A.J. Green‘s status for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

The talented wide receiver has been unable to shake his toe/foot problems this season, and after meeting with a specialist, it seems like multiple weeks of rest could be in order.
This is not good news for the Bengals, who aren’t exactly deep at WR on the depth chart. They’ve got a tough game this weekend against Carolina, another one next weekend against Indy and then a divisional battle the following week against Baltimore. These next three games will either keep the Bengals flying high, or bring them crashing down to Earth after their fast start.
Without their top WR, it’s really hard to see them pulling out wins in all three contests.
