The Baltimore Ravens face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6 where they should comfortably earn their fourth win of the regular season. The Ravens have so far put together a record of three wins and two losses, holding strong victories over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns and the Carolina Panthers. Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco will be X-factor in their Week 6 win.
The 2012 Super Bowl MVP Flacco has had a steady regular season thus far, completing 119 passes out of an attempted 191. These passes account for 1,290 yards and seven touchdowns over the course of five games.
Week 5 saw the only rocky patch for Flacco this regular season. In their loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Flacco saw his first game without a touchdown pass. However, both Weeks 3 and 4 saw the normal, calm and cool Flacco take control of both games. Week 4 actually saw Flacco have his best performance so far this season, completing 22 out of an attempted 31 passes for 327 yards and an outstanding three touchdown passes.
Entering their Week 6 matchup, Flacco will retain his Week 4 form and will hurt the Buccaneers with his decision making and cool demeanor. Flacco will also be assisted by the fact that the Buccaneers have one of the worst if not the worst defense in the NFL, allowing him more time in the pocket to pick out the proper targets. Flacco will use all his receivers the best he can, and his experience and leadership will be why he is the Ravens’ X-factor in Week 6.
