Predicting the Final Score of Cowboys vs. Seahawks in Week 6

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off of the emotional high from Dez Bryant‘s potentially season-saving catch, and the Seattle Seahawks are coming off the low of barely beating a lousy Washington Redskins squad that looks like a lock for the NFC’s cellar.

Jerry Jones believes his team needs to go after the Seahawks’ best defensive player, Richard Sherman, in order to secure a victory. That could be disastrous depending on the situation in which they attack the league’s best cornerback, but Dallas does need massive passing yardage to have success on Sunday. Dez Bryant is a creature who thrives when he has a chip on his shoulder and a bit of swagger to go along with it, and Tony Romo has wisely been pumping up his favorite target, Jason Witten, by saying the tight end could be the best Cowboy to ever play.

I’m not so sure about that. Romo seems to have forgetten the names Roger Staubach, Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith and Troy Aikman.

This QB battle should be a whole lot of fun, though, because Russell Wilson just had one of the best performances in Monday Night Football history and Romo is feeling more confident about his team than he has in years. So, this could be a preview of a potential NFC championship game depending on how the season plays out.

My prediction is that the Seahawks will be a little sloppy in the fourth quarter this week and get a reality check against a team that is currently riding a four-game winning streak.

Score: Cowboys 35, Seahawks 31
