At 3-3, the Bears are still in a great position to contend for a playoff spot. The Packers and Lions both sit at 4-2 with 10 games to play. The Bears will have a huge game in Green Bay in a few weeks and still play the Lions twice. Those games may end up being the deciding factor of the NFC North’s playoff teams.

The defense gave up just three first-half points against a high-powered Falcons offense that scored 37 and 56 points in their other two home games of the season. Atlanta finished the game with 13 points. Even with their top four linebackers out, the Bears defense kept Matt Ryan and the Falcons contained for most of the game with quality play from youngsters Khaseem Greene, Daryl Sharpton and Christian Jones.

In Chicago’s most impressive win of the season at San Francisco, Marshall had three touchdowns. The Bears' offense seems to go as No. 15 goes. Though without a touchdown, he finished the day with six catches for 113 yards. We also know that he is close friends with Jay Cutler. When the two are meshing well on the field, the morale of the entire offense is boosted because of their two leaders.

Forte is only the 20th player in NFL history with 7,000 rushing yards and 3,000 receiving yards. He’s been one of the most consistent offensive players in the league for the past five years, and his versatility is a big part of the Bears’ offensive success. He finished today’s game with 17 carries, 10 catches, 157 total yards and 2 TDs. He currently leads the league in catches.

In the Jay Cutler era, the Bears are 6-0 when up 10 at half. When Cutler gets comfortable in the pocket and finds his groove, he really is fun to watch. Huge third down conversions, strong leadership and a calm demeanor left Bears fans feeling good about Cutler after a Week 6 win. He finished with 381 yards and a TD on 26-of-38 passing with a QB rating of 109.6.
