We all know how bad the Jets have been to start the season, and while there are probably 15 problems plaguing this team currently, these five issues undoubtedly paint a broad picture of what they're dealing with as constructed thus far in 2014.

Out of all the main facets of this football team, the Jets WR corps is definitely the least to blame for this putrid start. However, the unit as a whole does not exactly leave opposing defenses shaking in their boots during the week while forming their game plan. Eric Decker's been solid for how poorly this offense has played, and Jeremy Kerley has talent, but Greg Salas and David Nelson are not gonna cut it to fill out the WR depth chart.

New York lost its No.1 cornerback Dee Milliner to injury during the game against the Denver Broncos to add insult to injury. I hated the first-round pick they used on Milliner in 2013, and even more so now. The Kyle Wilson first-round pick is one of the biggest busts in recent memory as he can't cover a schoolbook with a paper bag. I'm not even sure if anyone knows the safeties' names other than Calvin Pryor -- this unit is truly underwhelming.

I, like many Jets fans, got excited after their Week 1 win over the Oakland Raiders as it appeared that Chris Johnson was an unmistakably underrated acquisition and a perfect compliment to Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell. Ivory looked really good in one game since, but Johnson's done virtually nothing. In fairness, the Jets' weak passing attack plays a part in this as opposing defenses can stack the box against the run.

The fumbling on special teams looked beer-league type bad against the Broncos. Smith has thrown seven interceptions in six games which is something this team cannot overcome. Giving opponents any chance to capitalize on bonehead, fundamental mistakes is always indicative of a squad that is going nowhere fast.

I don't want to seem like I'm picking on Smith here, but I'm not sure what else to say. He actually threw a few TDs against the Broncos in Week 6 but his statline is misleading as he struggled very often. Smith did a better job at working through his progressions as he was able to get TE Jace Amaro involved, but oftentimes he's focused purely on Decker, and it seems binoculars wouldn't help him find Kerley lately. Also, Michael Vick stinks.
