The Chicago Bears have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the league. They look great in wins and terrible in losses. Here are five reasons why they will rebound.

Willie Young now leads the entire NFL in sacks. Jared Allen finally recorded his first sack as a Bear. Up the middle, they are playing at a very high level. The improved play up front has payed dividends.

In the first couple of games, I questioned Trestman's play calling ability. It seemed as if he was too conservative in the pass game, but not aggressive enough on the ground. If his Game 6 play calls are any indication, he has improved.

So far in 2014, when Cutler has thrown two interceptions, the Bears lose. When he doesn't throw any, they win. Cutler is in control of the Bears' destiny almost every week. Will we see more good or bad Jay? I think we will be seeing more of the good version.

Kyle Fuller has stepped in for Charles Tillman and has made a major impact on defense. Rookie defensive tackles have been given a larger role as they have proven themselves to be productive. Brock Vereen has also stepped in at safety. The defensive department is much better than it was last year, mainly because of these guys.

Lance Briggs missed Week 6 along with three other top linebackers. The injured players on the offensive line (Roberto Garza, Matt Slauson and Jermon Bushrod) are all nearly back. Let's not forget about Marquess Wilson, who has been cleared to return to practice. A healthier lineup will definitely lead to a better product on the field.
