NFL Week 7 Picks & Score Predictions

It’s Week 7 everyone! We are more than a third the way through the NFL regular season, and we still have no idea who’s going to make the playoffs. We kinda know who’s not (looking at you Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Oakland Raiders, New York Jets), but with 20 teams with or within one game of first place in their division, the season is still anyone’s game. Here’s what Week 7 has in store.

This is another in a long line of Thursday Night blowout games as the really good Patriots face off against the really bad Jets. The big question heading into this game is if Rex Ryan will be fired after the first quarter or at halftime. Stay tuned.

So I guess the Falcons just flat-out suck. People thought last year was an anomaly, but I guess this is just a really bad team. Thanksgiving’s coming early for Flacco as he will be carving up a roasted falcon on Sunday.

Krik Cousins faces a horrible Titans defense, but Charlie Whitehurst’s brown locks also face a pretty awful defense. This game might actually be an exciting shootout between two teams that no one cares about. Who would have thunk it.

How happy must the Seahawks be right now? After losing at home to the Cowboys, they get to face the NFL’s punching bag. Austin Davis will have nightmares for weeks after this game, as the Legion of Boom are intent on reminding the world they are the best.

The quest for the No. 1 pick in the draft will continue for the Jaguars as they will lose, ever so graciously, to the playoff bound (yeah, you heard it here first) Browns. If the Browns find a way to lose this game, I will do something rash.

Finally there's a game that promises to be good. Actually, this is Game of the Week. The Bengals, having already proved that tying sucks, will have lots to prove against the Colts and Andrew Luck, who somehow already has over 1,900 yards and 17 touchdowns.

It turns out that starting a rookie QB and losing the best player in the league does a number to your success. Someone has to win this game, and it'll probably be the Bills due to Sammy Watkins. Yeah, I've decided that works as a reason.

Jay Cutler might win MVP and Ryan Tannehill might be replaced. This game might be good, but most likely it will be over quickly as the Dolphins have no answer for Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery.

I wanted to pick the Saints here, but man, they're really bad -- like on par with the Falcons bad. That whole NFC South is pretty much up for grabs. Yikes. The Lions are surprisingly playing good football and will take care of the 2-3 Saints.

Oh, here's another game that will be fun to watch! Aaron Rodgers is playing out of his mind while the Panthers have been playing more or less in their mind. This one will be tied until Mason Crosby does the unthinkable and makes a clutch field goal.

I really wanted to pick this as my upset, but I've got a better one, just you wait. I still don't know how the Chargers suddenly became amazing, but it isn't going to stop against the Chiefs. Andy Reid will be a sad Kool-Aid man after this game.

UPSET! Yes sir (and ma'am) this is the upset of the week. After playing toe to toe with the 5-1 Chargers, the Raiders will be fired up to play the still shocking 4-1 Cardinals. Derek Carr is making sure everyone knows who the better Carr is.

This game will be a joke from the beginning -- where Eli Manning is strip sacked resulting in a Cowboys touchdown -- to the end -- where DeMarco Murray scores his third TD. Don't bother showing up; the Giants’ defense won’t.
Cowboys 41, Giants 10

Well I like neither of these teams, so I’d for once like a tie. But that won't happen. Peyton Manning will play amazing and Colin Kaepernick will do something silly late in the game to lose it. Predictable.

The Steelers’ defense will be preparing to stop Ryan Fitzpatrick and Arian Foster from scoring, but that won't help them win. J.J. Watt is the only man the Steelers need to stop, but it can't be done -- ask anyone. They won't be able to stop Foster either.
Texans 23, Steelers 16
