Miami came into Solider Field and just dominated today’s game against the Chicago Bears. Almost halfway through the season, the biggest knock on this Miami offense was the inability to score in the first half. A big reason for this was QB Ryan Tannehill, whose play in the first and second half of games this season have been like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This wasn’t the case today, as Tannehill went 14-15 with 176 yards and two TDs, as well as 20 rush yards in the first half.

In the first half alone, the Dolphins slipped four times on the grass. Chunks of grass not withstanding, slipping on grass that much reeks of unawareness, which goes hand in hand with being unprepared.

People assumed that on Tuesday -- after it was announced Moreno went down with a torn ACL -- Miami’s run game would take a major hit. This wasn’t the case, however, as Miami rushed for 137 yards on 33 carries

One of the subplots for this game was the question of how the defensive backs -- namely Cortland Finnegan and Brent Grimes -- for Miami would be able to play against the Bears' “Twin Towers” Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jefferies.
