The Washington Redskins erased a four-game losing streak by defeating the Tennessee Titans 19-17 on a last-second field goal. Quarterback Kirk Cousins was benched after the first half in favor of Colt McCoy, who led Washington on a game-winning drive. Washington improved to 2-5 on the season and will face the division rival the Dallas Cowboys next week. Here are five takeaways from the Redskins' victory.

Forbath made four field goals on the afternoon, including the game-winner from 22 yards. He's connected on seven of his eight attempts this season. However, Washington's red zone deficiency led to Forbath's numerous attempts. The Redskins entered the red zone three times and had to settle for field goals on each appearance.

Cousins has been a turnover machine this year and continued his ways on Sunday. His fumble and interception led to 10 Titans points and ultimately his benching in the second half. Cousins will not be taken seriously as an NFL quarterback until he figures out how to limit turnovers. He leads the league with nine interceptions this season, which is unacceptable.

The Redskins allowed two more touchdown passes on Sunday, increasing the total to 13 on the season. Washington has had problems defending the pass this year, especially after the injury to DeAngelo Hall. On a positive note, rookie Bashaud Breeland recorded the first interception of his career and the first turnover for Washington in four games.

To put it lightly, Washington's 19-17 win over Tennessee was sloppy. There were still a number of mistakes and missed opportunities for both teams during the game. The Redskins have two victories, but both have come against inferior opponents in the Titans and Jaguars. Nevertheless, a win is a win, and Washington should enjoy this one since it might not happen again for a while.

McCoy entered the game in the second half and gave the Redskins a much-needed spark. His first pass went for a 70-yard touchdown to Pierre Garcon which changed the momentum of the game. He finished with 128 yards, going 11-for-12 in his first game action in nearly a year. McCoy should be the starter when the Redskins head to Dallas to face the Cowboys next Monday night.
