The St. Louis Rams are an up-and-coming team in the NFL. And while their future looks bright on the field, it is a bit more murky off of it. The Rams may have worn out their welcome in St. Louis, and these are five reasons they why should move back to their old home of Los Angeles.

If the Rams were to move back to Los Angeles, they would need someone who could help make the transition go smoothly. The Rams have that right now in head coach Jeff Fisher. Fisher is from California and went to college at the University of Southern California. He could use his California ties to help sway a decision to move to Los Angeles and could make sure there is a nice transition for the team.

One of the most obvious reasons the Rams would want to move to Los Angeles is the location. The Rams play in the NFC West along with teams that are located in San Francisco, Seattle and Arizona. This is a much more applicable for the Rams because they would not have to fly halfway across the country to play their own division. And this in turn could allow the Rams to win more games with the lack of jet lag.

The Rams have a ton of former players who shined for them while in Los Angeles. Players and coaches such as Eric Dickerson and Dick Vermeil among others would love to relive their glory days and would likely support this move back to Los Angeles fully. And by doing this, the Rams' alumni would help, along with Jeff Fisher, to make sure there is a smooth transition for the move.

2. Tradition

One thing the Rams likely regret by moving from Los Angeles is the loss of their tradition. The team played in Los Angeles for almost 50 years before the move and won two NFL Championships and multiple division titles in the city. And even though the Rams won a Super Bowl while in St. Louis, the team really has done nothing else worth noting. So the Rams could be excited about the idea to reclaim their tradition by moving back to Los Angeles.

This is the most enticing reason for the Rams to go back to Los Angeles. The Rams have a small fanbase in St. Louis, and Los Angeles would bring more fans from the old days and new fans in the area. The Los Angeles market is also one of the largest in the entire country. That will mean more TV and radio time for the team and more money for the Rams. This big monetary increase could be enough to make the Rams return to Los Angeles.
