Even though the Seattle Seahawks are struggling a bit through the first six games of the 2014 NFL season and stuck in third in the NFC West, the fact that they are coming off the best year in franchise history should mean that morale is still relatively high in the great Northwest. Unfortunately, that might not be the case.
Stellar running back Marshawn Lynch is reportedly not happy with the state of the Seahawks organization, which does not bode well for what lies ahead for the team. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Lynch is so distraught over the trade of Percy Harvin that the only way he will regain personal happiness is if he is dealt. Of course, this should not come as a surprise considering Lynch has never had a good relationship with the people who he works for.
“@RapSheet on Lynch: “He has a tense relationship w/ coach Pete Carroll; does not communicate w/ Carroll, GM John Schneider.”

Many see Lynch as a man who hates to talk to the media, but apparently, it is not just the writers and reporters that he is uninterested in. There is also very little communication between the coaching staff and him, which obviously makes it difficult to accomplish tasks on a day-to-day, game-to-game basis.
Lynch can live with certain aspects about his profession, but what he cannot deal with is a close friend being traded for essentially unknown reasons. Yes, we are aware that Harvin was an issue in the locker room at times, but for all purposes, it is still relatively unknown exactly why the Seahawks would get rid of an offensive weapon who has the potential to go off on any given Sunday.
Since Lynch will be a free agent after the 2015 season, do not be surprised to see the Seattle select a running back rather high in the 2015 NFL Draft. As far as trading Lynch, I cannot imagine that becoming a realistic possibility, unless the running back himself refuses to play.
