Week 9 Matchup: New York Jets (1-7) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (4-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 2, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Arrowhead Stadium
Line: Kansas City (-10)
Not the most exciting matchup coming into this one, but I am sure Kansas City Chiefs fans are feeling pretty good about this game.
After all, the New York Jets have not won since the first week of the season. Yup, they have managed to lose seven games in a row. Although I believe they will eventually get another win, I doubt it comes in this one. The Jets could use some serious help in the quarterback department, and it doesn’t look like they are going to solve that issue anytime soon.
Kansas City may not have the best QB in the game, but Alex Smith has been leading his team to victory, and that is really all that matters. The Chiefs will enter this one on a two-game winning streak. During this streak, Kansas City has managed to knock off the San Diego Chargers on the road, and beat the St. Louis Rams by the score of 34-7. Pretty solid.
Assuming New York’s QBs still struggle in this one, the team is going to struggle to score enough points to win. It’s not like their defense is holding their end of the deal, either, as the team is giving up the most points in the AFC East. The Jets have many issues that they need to fix, and I just don’t see that happening anytime soon. The Chiefs should have no problem winning this one in front of their fans.
PREDICTION: Jets 14, Chiefs 24
