Line: San Francisco (-10)

You could say the San Francisco 49ers aren’t coming off of their best performance of the season, as they lost to the Denver Broncos by the score of 42-17 in Week 7. Hopefully a bye week did the team some good. Next up for them will be the St. Louis Rams, who have only won two games in 2014.

Although St. Louis was able to surprise the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7, it followed that up with a blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8. The last time the Rams took on San Fran, they lost by the score of 31-17. That contest was played at home for St. Louis, so things could really get ugly in Round 2.

Before the loss to Denver, the 49ers were actually playing good ball, and had a three-game winning streak to show for it. Denver tends to put up a boat load of points. That is just what it does. Regardless, the 49ers have no time to think about that loss, as they currently are a couple of games back in their division, and could use another winning streak as a result.

Luckily for San Francisco fans, their team is the favorite heading into this one, and it will more than likely get a victory at home. The team still has a long ways to go, but it is at least better than St. Louis heading into this one.

PREDICTION: Rams 22, 49ers 31
