Week 9 Matchup: Baltimore Ravens (5-3) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 2, 8:30 p.m. ET, NBC
Stadium: Heinz Field
Line: Baltimore (-1)
This Week 9 matchup can go either way. With that said, the first meeting between the two teams was won by the Baltimore Ravens (26-6). This time around, the game should be closer. For one, it will be played at the Pittsburgh Steelers’ home. For two, Pittsburgh has been on a roll lately.
Speaking of which, the Steelers have now won back-to-back contests. Not to mention, the team absolutely exploded last game against the Indianapolis Colts. To make a long story short, Pittsburgh dropped 51 points on the Colts, who were one of the hottest teams in the NFL coming in.
Baltimore is coming off of a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on the road. Both the Steelers and Ravens are trailing the Bengals in the division, so you could say both teams could use a victory.
It remains to be seen if either team will make the playoffs, but over the years, both teams have shown that they can make runs to the Super Bowl, and win it. Now, neither team has the same group of guys that they had when they won the Super Bowl, but still.
The way Cincinnati has been playing this year, there is a good chance that only one of these two teams make the playoffs, which makes Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Round 2 all that more intriguing. If the Steelers can have a similar performance to last weekend, they will have no problem winning. Similar performance or not, I am still predicting them to take this game.
PREDICTION: Ravens 23, Steelers 26
