The Indianapolis Colts (5-3) are coming off a somewhat surprising loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but they have a favorable matchup against the New York Giants (3-4) on Monday Night Football at MetLife Stadium. These are five bold predictions for their Week 9 matchup.

An MRI revealed that Davis’ knee injury has nothing serious, so I fully expect him to play on Monday night. After missing the majority of the game last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Davis will show up in a major way by picking off Manning, who has only thrown five interceptions this year, twice.

The Giants will try to replicate the Steelers’ offensive attack last week, but fail to do so. They will try to open things up by getting a successful ground attack, but the Colts’ defensive front-seven will shut it down completely. Rashad Jennings would help greatly, but unfortunately for the Giants he is once again listed as inactive due to injury.

Manning is going to throw a lot, so I could see him reaching 350 passing yards. He will be way less efficient than Ben Roethlisberger was last week, but he will give it his best shot.

2. Andrew Luck Throws For 400-Plus Yards

Luck and the Colts come back in a major way. Luck actually passed for 400 yards last week, and he will do it again this week in another aerial battle against the Giants. This time, however, they will win the war.

Hilton will be the No. 1 recipient for the Colts’ aerial attack for the second week in a row. This time Hilton will go over 200 receiving yards and score twice, surpassing his mark last week of 155 receiving yards with a score.
