Whether if you thought the Cleveland Browns were going to compete for a playoff spot in 2014 or not, it really doesn’t matter. The Browns are still in contention for said spot, and could make some serious noise against the Cincinnati Bengals with a victory in Week 10.

In no way is QB Brian Hoyer having a Peyton Manning-like season, but he is doing enough to lead his team to victory. It helps that Cleveland has allowed the least amount of points in its division. This is the first of two matchups against Cincy this year, and in no way will it be an easy one. After all, the Browns will be playing on the road and the Bengals are at the top of the division.

Speaking of the Bengals, they enter this one on a two-game winning streak. After not winning a game since Sept. 21, that is exactly what the team needed to get back on track. There is still plenty of football that needs to be played, and Cincinnati still has to take on the red-hot Pittsburgh Steelers twice this year, so really anything could happen. With that said, this team needs to continue to win at home.

Although it came against two easier opponents, the Browns enter this one on a two-game winning streak as well. Unfortunately, that streak is going to end in Week 10.

PREDICTION: Browns 20, Bengals 27
