Week 10 Matchup: Miami Dolphins (5-3) vs. Detroit Lions (6-2)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 9, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Ford Field
Line: Detroit (-6)
The Detroit Lions may be the favorites coming into this game, but the Miami Dolphins are just as good as anyone right now.
Seriously, though. They are coming off a blowout victory against the San Diego Chargers. You know, a 37-0 blowout victory. Considering how good the Chargers have been this season, I would say that is pretty impressive. The two games before that, Miami managed to win on the road. The game before those ones, the Dolphins barely lost to the Green Bay Packers. So yeah, they have been playing pretty good ball lately.
As for the Lions, they have won three games in a row and are coming off a bye. They are also at the top of their division. Although their offense hasn’t been scoring at will, if you will, the defense has been solid. If you think only giving up 126 points this late in the season is solid, that is.
Regardless, both teams enter this one with quite a bit of momentum, and it is really a toss-up on who will win. With that said, it is easy to go with the home team that has the line, which is exactly the route I am going in. Either way, the winner of this game is going to have some serious bragging rights.
PREDICTION: Dolphins 20, Lions 28
