Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for the Chicago Bears, they do. The Bears were humiliated on national television Sunday night, losing to the Green Bay Packers 55-14. This season is a loss for the Bears, but it’s not just a bad season -- it’s a humiliating one. Let’s take a look at the 10 most embarrassing statistics of the Bears' season.

This is the combined sack total between Jared Allen and Lamarr Houston. The Bears spent $ 67 million on these two in the offseason to improve their defense and their impact has been minimal. Allen has 1.5 sacks on the season, and Houston had one sack and eight total tackles in eight games before injuring himself during a celebration and will miss the remainder of the season.

This is the total points the Bears have given up over their last three contests, a whopping 44.3 points per game. To put this in perspective, the division rival Detroit Lions have given up 142 points, just nine more, over the course of the entire season.

This is the clip that teams are scoring against the vaunted Chicago Bears defense. It's no surprise that total is good for last in the NFL. The NFL record for ineptitude is the 1966 New York Giants at 35.7. One would think the Bears are safe from sinking to this level, but with this unit, you never know.

This is the passer rating of opposing quarterbacks against the Bears' defense. To put this in perspective, this is the same QB rating that Steve Young had during his 1992 MVP season. This isn't just Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers; contributors to this statistic include legends like EJ Manuel and Geno Smith, both of whom have been benched for their respective teams.

This is what the Bears' defense has given up over their last two contests. To show how much the Bears have been dominated, the greatest single-season team of all time, the 1985 Chicago Bears' best three-game stretch was scoring 104 points against the Lions, Cowboys and Falcons.

The Bears' defense has given up 23 touchdown passes through the air after nine games. If this pace continues, they will give up 41 passing TDs on the season, which would be the most by any NFL team ever. The current NFL record is 38, held by the 1969 St. Louis Cardinals.

That, of course, is the total passing TDs that Aaron Rodgers threw in the first half against Chicago on Sunday Night. This was only the second time in the history of the NFL that a QB has thrown six TD passes in any half of football. Daryle Lamonica of the Oakland Raiders accomplished this feat in 1969 against the Buffalo Bills.
3. 42-0

This was the Packers' halftime lead on Sunday night, the most points given up in a half in Chicago Bears history. The previous record lasted seven days, and that was the 38 points they gave up against the Patriots. It was also the second-biggest halftime deficit in the history of the NFL, trailing the 45-0 lead the Patriots had over the Titans in 2009.
2. 80-7

This is the score the Bears have been outscored by the last two first halves against the Packers and Patriots. The Bears trailed New England 38-7 and the Packers 42-0. Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady combined to throw for 518 yards with 10, count’em, 10 passing TDs. You couldn’t have better numbers in a video game.

The Bears became the second team in NFL history to allow 50 or more points in back-to-back games. The only other team to do so was the 1923 Rochester Jeffersons. The Jeffersons would play 16 more games after they accomplished the feat and were disbanded. No other team has shown the ineptitude that the Chicago defense has shown over the last two games in the last 90 years.
