Week 11 Matchup: Denver Broncos (7-2) vs. St. Louis Rams (3-6)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 16, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Edward Jones Dome
Line: Denver (-10)
The Denver Broncos and St. Louis Rams will take the field against one another this Sunday. I don’t think you need me to tell you which team enters this contest as the favorite.
Denver may have to travel on the road in this one, but it has arguably the best offense in the game. Peyton Manning is having yet another great season. As a result, the players around him are as well. Unfortunately for opposing teams, they cannot really zone in on one player. Manning has way too many weapons to focus in on, and good luck trying to contain Manning for an entire game.
The same thing cannot be said about St. Louis’ offense. The Rams have only scored 163 points on the year. Just for the record, Denver has managed to be a little more productive in that department, as it has scored 286 points. The Broncos have also given up less points, for what it’s worth.
The Rams are on a one-game losing streak, while the Broncos bounced back last week after going down hard to the New England Patriots the week before.
No matter what the case, Denver is a Super Bowl contender and St. Louis is not. Manning and the rest of the offense is not going to show any mercy on Sunday, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Denver put up 30+ points once again.
PREDICTION: Denver 31, Rams 24
