Week 11 Matchup: Oakland Raiders (0-9) vs. San Diego Chargers (5-4)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 16, 4:05 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Qualcomm Stadium
Line: San Diego (-10.5)
It’s tough to be a fan of the San Diego Chargers right now. After all, they have now dropped three games in a row. With that said, it has to be very, very tough to be a fan of the Oakland Raiders. They have yet to win a game in 2014.
That’s right, Oakland has now lost nine games in a row to start the season. Luckily, the last time these teams played, the Raiders managed to keep it close. In Week 6, Oakland was only beaten by three points against San Diego. Maybe it will have better luck this time around when it comes to the actual outcome. That may be wishful thinking, though.
For a while there, San Diego was considered as one of the best teams in the league. Three games has really changed that. Not only have the Chargers lost three games in a row, but they lost to the Miami Dolphins by the score of 37-0 last game. They also gave up 35 points against the Denver Broncos the week before that.
Things are not looking bright for San Diego right now, but it will still come away with the victory in Week 11. I’m not sure if the Raiders will win a game this season, but I am definitely not predicting them to win this one on the road. The Chargers could use a win or two in a row to get back on track, which is exactly what will happen against Oakland.
PREDICTION: Oakland 13, San Diego 27
