Week 11 Matchup: Seattle Seahawks (6-3) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (6-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 16, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX
Stadium: Arrowhead Stadium
Line: Kansas City (-1)
The Kansas City Chiefs are the favorites coming into this game, but not by much. That is because the Chiefs have managed to win six games so far, which includes victories over the New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers. It also helps that they will be playing at home.
Seattle went through a little blunder a few weeks back, but it has since gotten back on track by winning three games in a row. Its running game absolutely went off against the New York Giants last game (350 yards). In the process, Marshawn Lynch rushed for 140 yards and four TDs. Not a bad week at the office. I doubt the Seahawks will be able to run the ball with that much success against Kansas City, though.
Speaking of which, the Chiefs have now won four games in a row and are still in contention in the AFC West. They have only given up 151 points, but they will be going up against the defending national champs this week.
As much as I would like to say Kansas City is a serious Super Bowl contender, I just don’t know yet. I do know that Seattle will more than likely be in the playoffs and are still many people’s favorite to win back-to-back titles. Although the game could be close, give me the Seahawks by a touchdown or two in this one.
PREDICTION: Seahawks 28, Chiefs 21
