The Kansas City Chiefs have several former Pro Bowl selections, but the team is going to need more than that to beat the defending Super Bowl champs. Alex Smith, Jamaal Charles, Eric Berry, Justin Houston, Tamba Hali and Dontari Poe aren't the only key players on the team. Here are five other guys the Chiefs will need good performances from to take down the Seattle Seahawks.

Allen Bailey is having a great season, and he's probably been an upgrade from free-agent send-off Tyson Jackson. On top of his usual duties, Bailey will have the added task of containing the NFL's top rushing quarterback on Sunday.

Andy Reid needs to get De'Anthony Thomas more than the one touch he got against the Buffalo Bills. With an offense that doesn't like to throw deep, the speedy rookie's skill set gives the Chiefs one of their best chances of breaking a big play. Furthermore, in a matchup of quality defenses, the field-position game will be huge. Thomas' return skills will be vital in winning that battle.

Josh Mauga has had the unenviable task of filling Derrick Johnson's shoes, and he's done an outstanding job. The Chiefs' leading tackler (62) needs to keep it going against the league's best rushing attack.

Ron Parker was the Chiefs' savior against the Bills last week, making several big plays when the team needed it most. Kansas City needs him to keep the clutch plays coming against the team that cut him five times.

With Demetrius Harriss out and Anthony Fasano likely out, Travis Kelce will hopefully get the opportunities he should be getting every week. Defending the tight end is a bit of a soft spot for Seattle. If Alex Smith targets Kelce the way he should, the young playmaker could be the MVP of the game for the Chiefs.
