Janoris Jenkins Fails to Proofread Commemorative Tony Romo Pick Six Ball

Coming into the 2012 NFL Draft, there were many reports floating around stating that cornerback Janoris Jenkins wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box. Still, the St. Louis Rams gambled on Jenkins despite numerous red flags, drafting him in the second round. While the move appears to have panned out in terms of on-field talent, the reports on his lack of intelligence have proven to be spot on.

Jenkins bought himself a commemorative football after his impressive pick six against Tony Romo during the Rams’ Week 3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. It was certainly an impressive feat for a young NFL cornerback, and warranted a commemorative ball for someone who’s into those kinds of things.

There’s just one problem. Jenkins didn’t proofread what went onto the ball before it was printed up.

Have a look for yourself.

The pick six happened on September 21, but the ball says November 21. As I’m sure you can guess, the Rams do not play the Cowboys (or anyone, for that matter) on November 21.

Now it may not have been Jenkins’ fault for the mistake, but not realizing the error and posting it on Instagram was on him.

Smooth move.
