Seattle Seahawks Will Put End To Kansas City Chiefs’ Impressive Streak

The Kansas City Chiefs have not allowed a rushing touchdown since Week 16 last year, but Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks don’t care much about that.

It was Week 15 of the 2011 season against the San Francisco 49ers, who coincidentally had not given up a rushing touchdown since Week 16 of the previous season, but that streak came to an end after Beast Mode dominated their defense like it was just another typical day.

The Chiefs will fall victim to the same fate the Niners did on that cold day in 2011, but now they will have the added element of Russell Wilson to account for.

The Niners had a far greater defense in 2011 than the Chiefs do now, but it didn’t matter. The only thing that could keep Lynch out of the end zone against the Chiefs is his reported rib injury, but even if he fails to do so, which highly doubt, the Chiefs will still give it up to Wilson. But if not Wilson, then either Robert Turbin or Christine Michael will. Heck, maybe even Will Tukuafu will find the end zone, and he has been on the Seahawks roster for like two seconds.

Mark my words: the Hawks will pound it into the end zone against the Chiefs, and I will not be the least bit surprised if they do it more than once.

No disrespect to the Chiefs, but the Seahawks boast the best rushing team in the entire NFL, and while Kansas City hasn’t given up a score on the ground, they do get gashed (ranked No. 18 in rushing yards allowed).

Something has to give, and it won’t be Lynch and the Seahawks ground-and-pound attack. It was a nice streak Kansas City, but it will have to come to an end by this time tomorrow.

The Watchmen’s Rorschach said something that I think it relates to Lynch perfectly.

“None of you seem to understand. I’m not locked in here with you, you’re locked in here with me.

And it’s never, ever the other way around.
