For the sixth week in a row, the New England Patriots left no doubt on the field that they are prominent Super Bowl contenders. A handful of players made key contributions throughout the game to power the Patriots to 8-2. Here are the top five performers in the Patriots’ convincing Week 11 win.

It’s easy to forget that Gronkowski is as effective in the run blocking arena as he is in the passing game. In addition to helping to snowplow for Jonas Gray, Gronk scored one of the most fantastic touchdowns in the NFL this season, a 26-yard catch-and-run that will be shown if he keeps up this dominance during Gronkowski’s induction into the Hall of Fame.

The second-year linebacker was everywhere Sunday night. Collins led the team with eight total tackles, two of which went for losses; he also forced a fumble. Few linebackers in the NFL possess Collins’ combination of speed, coverage ability and open-field tackling skills.

3. Devin McCourty

McCourty played a central role in holding T.Y. Hilton to only 24 yards. He provided a safety blanket for Kyle Arrington all night, and the football gods rewarded him with a tip-drill interception, his second of the season. Playing at an elite level in a contract year, the Rutgers product is zeroing in on a big payday.

2. Darrelle Revis

Revis was instrumental in shutting down Hilton even though he didn’t matchup on the receiver himself. Instead, he courted Reggie Wayne to an evening on Revis Island, allowing the Patriots’ secondary to allocate more resources toward defending Hilton. On the stat sheet, Revis posted two passes defended -- one of which resulted in McCourty’s pick.

1. Jonas Gray

Gray’s bruising style of running culminated in 199 yards and four touchdowns on a hefty workload of 38 carries. More important than stats, however, is that Gray picked up the slack on offense when Tom Brady was struggling in the first half. Go ahead, check your waiver wire to see if Gray is available -- this won’t be the last 100-yard, multiple touchdown performance we see out of him this season.
