In Week 12 of the 2014 NFL season, the 7-3 Philadelphia Eagles host the 2-8 Tennessee Titans. While their records may indicate that the Eagles should be heavily favored, they are also coming off a 53-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers. The Titans are a young team that plays well at times and not so well at other times. Here are my five bold predictions for this matchup.

With 10.5 sacks, linebacker Connor Barwin is one of the best pass rushers in the league this season. Barwin didn't factor into last week's loss to the Packers, but that should just motivate him to impact this game. He should get his hands on quarterback Zach Mettenberger a few times. However, he will have a tough matchup against one of the better offensive lines in the NFL.

Philadelphia turned the ball over four times last week, and turnovers seem to be a part of Mark Sanchez's game. Even without Sanchez as their quarterback for most of the year, the Eagles lead the league in giveaways with 25. The Titans aren't known as ball hawks, but this seems to be a good matchup for them.

Mark Sanchez is a turnover machine, as I stated in the previous slide. But Chip Kelly's system also is a quarterback's dream, and Sanchez will benefit in the long run. The sixth-year veteran should find the end zone a handful of times against the Titans.

2. Bishop Sankey Will Rush For Over 100 Yards

While his statistics may not show it, Bishop Sankey is developing into a pretty productive running back. The rookie is starting to show glimpses of why he was the first tailback taken in the 2014 NFL Draft. Expect to see Sankey carry the ball often and get over the 100-yard mark for the first time in his young career.

This could be a close game late into the third quarter. But Chip Kelly's offense tend to outrun their opponents in the second half, and I believe that's what will happen here. The Eagles get back on track with a solid home victory.
