Not every game can be tightly contested and dramatic. Not every game can come down to a do-or-die 4th quarter drive. Blowouts happen. Some weeks, there might only be one, but in Week 11, there were seven games decided by more than 10 points. It was an ugly week, and the ScoreBig Scorekeeper will bet a whole grip of NFL tickets that there will be plenty more in Week 12. That said, not every game looks to be a one-sided affair. Here are five games worth the cost of admission.
Cleveland Browns at Atlanta Falcons
Ask yourself which surprises you more, the Falcons leading the NFC South with a record of 4-6, or the Browns still in the playoff hunt with a record of 6-4? The Falcons haven’t been great this year, especially on the road. But luckily, they are a minor disaster in the unmitigated tragedy that is the NFC South. 6-10 could win that division. Buy Atlanta Falcons tickets now. They might be hosting a playoff game come January. As for the visiting Browns, the ripple effect of the Johnny Football pick overshadowed the fact that Cleveland assembled a tough team in the off-season. Cleveland is right in the mix for the playoffs, something they haven’t done since Derek Anderson made the Pro Bowl. Yes that actually happened. Over the last few seasons, Browns tickets weren’t something to get excited about. But hey, LeBron came home. Anything is possible on the Cuyahoga.

Detroit Lions at New England Patriots
Football is a game played by physical freaks. Three-hundred-pound lineman who run a 4.8 40. 5’8″ running backs who crush would-be tacklers like a boulder rolling downhill. But even in a sea of rare humans, men like Rob Gronkowski and Calvin Johnson stand out. It’s a shame these two play on the same side of the ball, because them sharing the field would be a battle of Achilles v. Hector proportions. Healthy Gronk has the Pats playing better than during their last run to the Super Bowl. His effect on opposing defenses opens up a ton of options for the Pats’ offense. This allows New England to beat teams in a variety of different ways. When you buy New England Patriots tickets, you never know what you’re going to get. As for Megatron, he can’t get back to full strength soon enough as his team’s grip on the division lead is becoming more precarious by the minute. Johnson will have to put the Lions’ offense on his giant shoulders if Detroit hopes to make the playoffs.
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
No one said getting back to the Super Bowl was going to be easy. Ten games into the season, the Seattle Seahawks have already lost more games this year than they did all of last season. Coming off a loss to the Chiefs, the Seahawks find themselves staring up at the Arizona Cardinals in the standings. If Seattle wants to reclaim the division, they must win this game. On the other side of the ball, the Arizona Cardinals look like a team of destiny. Despite losing their franchise quarterback, Arizona has the best record in the NFC, and a clear path to a first-round bye and maybe a home Super Bowl at University of Phoenix stadium. Load up on Arizona Cardinals tickets now while you still can.
Baltimore Ravens at New Orleans Saints
Another AFC North-NFC South matchup. One division, the tightest in football. One division the worst we’ve seen in the NFL in some time. But this is still a game that both teams desperately need to win to keep pace in their respective division races. The Saints have been Jekel and Hyde all year. Typically when you buy New Orleans Saints tickets for a game in the Superdome, you get to see a victory. Drew Brees and the offense play so much better in New Orleans that other teams simply can’t keep pace. But the last two weeks, the black and gold have been very rusty at home, and now their season is in serious jeopardy. Perhaps a visit from the Ravens and their banged up defense will be just the thing to spark the sputtering Saints.

Miami Dolphins at Denver Broncos
In astrophysics, there is a phenomenon known as a planetary wobble. Essentially, something as large as planet has a little hiccup in its orbital cycle. It feels like a massive earthquake. There’s no explanation for it, and after it’s over, the planet keeps spinning on as though nothing has happened. That was the Broncos’ loss to the Rams last week. Even the great Peyton Manning is going to have a wobble from time to time. There’s no reason to think of that loss as indicative of a negative trend or larger problem. I expect the celestial Broncos to get back to exerting their gravity on the rest of the league. Fans with Broncos tickets have nothing to fear. The Miami Dolphins on the other hand, may be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Traveling to visit the Broncos after an embarrassing loss is not necessarily a recipe for success. Despite the Dolphins’ great pash rush, the Broncos’ offense should get back on track here, and their defense is sure to shut down the Dolphins rushing attack.
