The St. Louis Rams may not be the best team in the league, but they have three solid wins in the last five games. As for the San Diego Chargers, they finally bounced back in the win column after losing three straight.
In three of the last five games, the Rams have managed to knock off the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos. Not bad. The win against the Broncos actually came in St. Louis last game. Even more impressive, it only allowed seven points in that contest, which is kind of unheard of in the Peyton Manning era in Denver.
San Diego has had a streaky season, but at least it was able to win last weekend, even if that win did come against the winless Oakland Raiders. The Chargers have some very tough opponents coming up, teams like the New England Patriots and Denver, so they cannot really afford to drop a game against St. Louis.
Luckily, they will get this one at home, where they have compiled a 4-1 record. Philip Rivers and the rest of the offense need to get going early on in this one. Yes, the Chargers won last week, but they only managed to score 13 points. The game before, they had a grand total of zero points vs. the Miami Dolphins.
