Week 12 Matchup: Tennessee Titans (2-8) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (7-3)
TV Schedule: Sunday, Nov. 23, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Stadium: Lincoln Financial Field
Line: Philadelphia (-11)
Plain and simple, the Tennessee Titans would need to be on their A game to pull off the upset against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles would also probably have to be on their C game.
Tennessee almost got a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11, but it still managed to lose by three points. The Titans have now lost four games in a row. Spoiler alert: Tennessee is not going to make the playoffs this year. Sure, it could win the rest of its games, but who knows if that would even be enough.
Unfortunately for the Eagles, they ran into the Green Bay Packers this past week. Needless to say, Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the team are extremely good at home. For the record, Philadelphia lost that game by the score of 53-20 (ouch). Tennessee should provide a much easier test. The team could certainly use another win, as it is tied with the Dallas Cowboys at the top of the NFC East. Then again, Tennessee could use a bunch of wins.
The Titans are probably going to win another game sooner or later, but I just don’t see it happening on the road against the Eagles. Therefore, I am predicting Philadelphia to win comfortably in this Week 12 matchup.
PREDICTION: Titans 17, Eagles 34
