The Arizona Cardinals, through numerous injuries to key members of their roster, have emerged as one of the top teams in the NFL this season. However, they managed just three points in their second loss of the season on Sunday in a divisional matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. These are the five things to take away from this game.

Floyd has proven as recently as earlier this season that he can be a big-play receiver and a viable top option in Arizona’s passing game. However he had no catches on only two targets in week 12. You have to wonder why he’s not being used more in this offense.

Granted the Cards were up against one of the top run defenses in the league on Sunday, but they haven’t been able to run the ball effectively much at all this season. Ellington is a viable threat, but his rushing ability certainly isn’t the biggest part of that.

Fitzgerald’s streak of consecutive games played came to a close on Sunday and it was evident in the offense. Even if he isn’t putting up superstar stats anymore, the threat of having him on the field is huge for Arizona’s offense and his absence proved to be hugely detrimental.

Sure, the Cardinals were defeated and allowed 19 points, but they were able to stifle Marshawn Lynch, limit Russell Wilson as a passer, and break down the Seahawks O-line on a number of occasions. Make no mistake, this Arizona defense is still elite.

Yes, Drew Stanton is their quarterback and yes injuries are a factor, but this team is going to be a force for the rest of the year and in the postseason. Bruce Arians is doing a masterful job of coaching this team and they have the offensive explosiveness and defensive prowess to do some real damage.
