The Jets were held to 218 yards by the Buffalo Bills, and the prospects against the Miami Dolphins don’t look all that much better. Unless the Jets can find a way to move the ball against the fifth-ranked total defense, it will be a long night for New York fans.

“Juice” led the team in receptions against the Broncos last week, and will do the same against the Jets. The rookie has become a favorite target for Ryan Tannehill, and will look to take advantage of a defense that was just ripped apart by the Buffalo Bills.

Ryan Tannehill and the offense looked great at times against the Broncos last week, and the passing attack has really evolved over the last few games. Tannehill threw three touchdowns a week ago against a talented Denver defense while only being sacked once. Look for him to spread the ball around and hit touchdown passes to multiple receivers against a defense that struggled mightily against Buffalo.

To say that the Jets have quarterback problems is akin to saying that Mt. Everest is tall. Geno Smith and Mike Vick have been horrendous this year, and the rankings show it. The Jets are dead last in the league as a passing offense, and the Dolphins’ fourth-ranked pass defense should have a field day tormenting New York’s signal callers.

To mention the 2000 Dolphins vs. Jets Monday Night Football matchup is sacrilege in Miami, and every time the two teams have squared off on America’s biggest regular season stage, Dolphins fans are reminded of the worst collapse in franchise history. This Dolphins team, however, should have no problem finishing off these Jets.
