Carolina Panthers vs. Minnesota Vikings is more than likely not must-see TV for most people this weekend, but it is still football. That has to count for something.
Carolina enters this one on a five-game losing streak. You could say it is definitely in search for a win right about now. Although the Panthers’ record is nothing to brag about, they are surprisingly still in contention for a playoff spot. That is due to the NFC South being so weak this year. After all, the leader of the division sits at 4-7 right now.
Minnesota may not be on as bad of a streak, but it has still lost its last two games. One to the Chicago Bears and the other to the Green Bay Packers. Although a loss is a loss, the Vikings only went down to the Packers by a couple of points. Unfortunately, the Vikings don’t play in an extremely weak division like the Panthers, and more than likely won’t be partaking in the playoffs this year.
Carolina is bound to win a game sooner or later, but it has only won one road game in 2014, and will travel on the road once again in this contest. It may not be the best win in team history, but I am sure Minnesota will gladly take it.
