Andy Dalton is Key to Cincinnati Bengals Win Over Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Cincinnati Bengals will travel to warmer weather this week as they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Andy Dalton‘s ability to play with consistency throughout the game will be the key to a Bengals victory.
As we approach the final games of the NFL season, every game will be more important, especially for teams like Cincinnati that are fighting for a playoff spot. The good news for the Bengals is that they control their own destiny in the AFC North, but that will be a difficult task with their remaining schedule.
Dalton will need to play his best football for the remainder of the year and will be under scrutiny due to his inconsistent play this season. He will be facing a Bucs defense that’s ranked 22nd in the league against the pass, which should provide ample opportunity for Dalton to be effective. There is no reason the Bengals should lose this game.
If Dalton plays like he has the past two weeks, he should be able to lead his team to a victory, especially with the run support he has been receiving from Jeremy Hill and a now-healthy Giovani Bernard. Fans can only hope he doesn’t resort back to his erratic ways, something that usually happens when he is faced with a lot of pressure.
With the new contract he received this past offseason, this will need to be the year he overcomes that pressure and not only lead his team to the playoffs, but finally win a playoff game.
It will be intriguing to watch Dalton for the remainder of the season and how well he leads his team when it counts. It all begins this week as he enters a game that he should perform very well in.
