After defeating the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving, the Philadelphia Eagles have put themselves in a nice position to capture their second-consecutive NFC East division title. However, with five games still remaining, there is still work to be done. Here are five players who must play well for the duration of the season.

Heading into the season, many, including myself, felt Zach Ertz was in line for a breakout year. That has not happened, but there will be a time when a tight end needs to make a big play for this team, and Ertz should be the one to do so.

This is the most obvious guy on this list, yet it is warranted. Mark Sanchez must continue to cut down on the turnovers, and if he is able to do so, he will continue to be successful in this offense.

Matthews has been a pleasant surprise with seven touchdowns already. However, he will need to continue to be another weapon as the season winds down.

This guy has proven he is a Pro-Bowl caliber player in 2014. If he continues to be this dominant, Philadelphia's defense will continue to thrive.

Since Demeco Ryans went down with a season-ending injury, Mychal Kendricks has become the quarterback of the defense, and has played well. He will need to become an even bigger force during the stretch run.
