Amidst the rumors of Jim Harbaugh being traded to the Oakland Raiders over the offseason to be their head coach, Harbaugh and the San Francisco 49ers will travel across the bay on Sunday to play their local rivals. These two teams don't like each other, and the 49ers need a win to keep pace in the NFC playoff race. Here are five bold predictions for the 49ers vs. Raiders game.

5. Carlos Hyde Will Have His Best Game of the Season

Frank Gore is still the workhorse back, but it is only a matter of time before rookie Carlos Hyde takes over for Gore. Hyde is an excellent running back. He has great vision, stays behind his blockers and isn't afraid to put on a big hit. In a game that will likely be a blowout, Hyde will see a ton of touches which is why he could have the best game of his young career.

Although he had just four carries, because of injury, in their win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Latavius Murray is exciting for this Raiders team. The duo of Maurice Jones-Drew and Darren McFadden has been abysmal in 2014. If Murray is healthy in Week 14, don't be surprised if the Raiders dial his number at least 20 times on Sunday.

3. Vernon Davis Will Score a Touchdown

Vernon Davis has been arguably one of the most disappointing players in all of football this season. Besides his Week 1 game against the Dallas Cowboys, Davis has no touchdowns. In 2014, Davis has caught just 23 passes for 210 yards. Oddly enough, in Colin Kaepernick's tenure in San Francisco, Davis has been one of his favorite targets. In Week 14, I believe Davis and Kaepernick will get back on track, and the two will hook up for a touchdown.

2. Raiders Will Turn the Ball Over 4 Times

The Raiders have their quarterback of the future in Derek Carr, and although he has looked good at times in 2014, the rookie is prone to giving the ball away. When teams play rookies, they usually lead the league in interceptions. Carr is currently ranked fifth on that list with 11 picks. Against a good defense, don't be surprised if the Raiders turn the football over at least four times.

While many believe the Raiders will play for pride against their cross-bay rivals, the reality is that the Raiders are the worst team in the NFL and the 49ers are a team in the middle of a playoff race. After losing to the Seattle Seahawks last week, this game is even more important for the 49ers. I don't expect them to play around in this game. I'm picking the 49ers to win by a large margin.
