Reports of Newton suffering two broken legs are not true.
CMPD source says no injuries to Cam Newton.He did not want to be transported. Taken to hospital as a precaution.

Scary news out of Charlotte today, as Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton has been involved in a car accident. The early images from the scene paint a fairly serious picture, as Newton’s vehicle apparently ended up on its side.

Early reports suggested the other driver ran a red light and hit Newton, and that the QB has suffered two broken legs (The report was later debunked).
