Week 15 Matchup: New York Jets (2-11) vs. Tennessee Titans (2-11)

This Week 15 matchup features two of the worst teams in the NFL.
New York enters this one riding a three-game losing streak, while Tennessee has lost seven games in a row. It is the Jets who almost tasted victory again last week, though, as they lost to the Minnesota Vikings in overtime. The Titans were no contest against the New York Giants (lost 36-7).
Both teams could use some serious help on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, which is pretty typical for teams that have only won two games in the first 13 of the season. It doesn’t help that Tennessee QB Zach Mettenberger is now done for the season.
The real question: Which team is going to end the season with a worse record? Given the fact that Mettenberger is now out, I like the Jets to not only win this game on the road, but to have more wins when it is all said and done. Sure, they still have to play the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins, but capturing a win in Week 15 may be all they need.
The Titans still have a very winnable game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They close out 2014 by taking on the Indianapolis Colts, which could be a complete nightmare depending on if the Colts rest players or not in that Week 17 matchup.
It may not be pretty, but New York will find a way to win this week.
