On Sunday the Indianapolis Colts (9-4) and Houston Texans (7-6) will face off in an AFC South battle. The Colts are 21-4 all-time in this series and 12-0 at home. Indianapolis is in the middle of a three-game win streak, and Houston has won two straight. If the Colts win they will clinch the AFC South title and their third straight 10-win season, while Houston needs a win to keep playoff hopes alive. Here are five bold predictions for the game.

5. Adam Vinatieri Will Extend His Record

5. Adam Vinatieri Will Extend His Record

Vinatieri is one of the best place kickers of all time. He has made incredibly important and difficult field goals for both the Patriots and Colts. Last week he set a Colts record with a seventh straight 50-yard field goal made. Lucas Oil Stadium has a retractable roof, so the Colts can keep weather from being an issue. It’s more than possible that Vinatieri extends this record to eight consecutive 50-yard field goals made.

Foster is averaging 102.8 yards per game (2nd), and he has eight rushing TDs (tied for 4th). The Colts may struggle more against the pass (247.5 yards per game, 22nd) than against the run (108.3 yards per game, 13th), but they are allowing teams to average over 100 yards per game. The Texans do not have a premier NFL QB, and they are averaging 136.8 rushing yards per game (4th). Look for the Texans to use a steady dose of Foster.

3. Andrew Luck Will Throw For 350+ Yards and 4+ TDs

Luck is averaging 331 passing yards per game (1st), and he has thrown 36 TDs (tied for first) with 11 INTs. He is in his third season, and while he hasn’t enjoyed a tremendous amount of playoff success, Luck is certainly one of the more talented QBs in the league. The Texans' defense struggles against the pass, and they are allowing 264.0 passing yards per game (28th). Don’t be surprised if Luck has a big day on Sunday.

2. T.Y. Hilton Will Have 150+ Receiving Yards and 2+ TDs

Hilton has emerged as one of the better receivers in the NFL this season. He is averaging 99.6 receiving yards per game (3rd) with seven receiving TDs. It helps that he has Luck as his QB, but Hilton still needs to get open and make plays. The Texans struggle against the pass more than the run, and with Reggie Wayne banged up, Luck will be looking Hilton’s way a lot on Sunday.

1. J.J. Watt Will Have an INT, TD and a Sack

Watt is making a strong case to be named MVP this season, even though it’s almost impossible for a defensive player or a non-skill position player to win the award. He has 14.5 sacks (3rd), one INT (returned for a TD) and three receiving TDs this season, along with a fumble recovery for a TD for a total of five TDs on the season. That’s more than some marquee WRs. Watt is more than capable of recording an INT, sack and a TD on Sunday.
