Jared 'Hefty Lefty' Lorenzen Offers Up His QB Services To Arizona Cardinals

By RantSports Staff

The Arizona Cardinals have a bit of a quarterback crisis on their hands. With Carson Palmer already out for the season and Drew Stanton listed as week-to-week with ACL and MCL sprains — it could be up to Ryan Lindley (four career starts) the rest of the way.

But don’t fret, Cards fans. The “Hefty Lefty” could be coming to the rescue.

If you’re not familiar with Jared Lorenzen, he was Eli Manning‘s backup during the New York Giants‘ Super Bowl run in 07-08. He’s since put on a few pounds and played in the CIFL.

At this point, Arizona may not have much to lose by giving Lorenzen a tryout. Lindley has never thrown an NFL touchdown pass.
